New investor from Missouri (keyword Houston & Orlando too)
Hello BP world! My name is Coco Weeks from Joplin, MO. 9 months ago I left my job to stay at home with my 3 children. I have rentals in Orlando that are doing fantastic, couple in Houston that aren't. I live in Joplin with one rental in town as well. Despite an awesome start up portfolio thanks to my family, I'm still new to the REI world and finding my way around. I'm hoping to learn from others how best to navigate in the landlording world and be profitable.
My RE goal for 2017 is to have a steady enough cash flow to live on and have enough knowledge on non-traditional financing so I can further my portfolio in 2018 and on. I'd love to network with any investors and professionals in these three cities I mentioned. Any helpful advice for my many questions to come is highly coveted. :)

Welcome, Coco. I am in Springfield, which is about 65 minutes east of you. I would think your investments homes in both FL and Houston would be doing well. We have an active REIA group here in Springfield if you ever want to make the drive. We meet once/month.
