Is it OK for Real Estate agents to also be Investors?

Hi-  I'm just getting started and have a bunch of questions, so I thought I would start with

one that I have wondered about for quite some time.

Are there any issues or restrictions regarding Real Estate Agents also being investors?

From reading in the forums, it appears there are lots of agents involved in the investing side of things. If I am wrong about this, someone can correct me, but it looks that way to me.

Wondering if it would be advantageous for me to get my license. From a general education point of view, it would seem to make sense, but there is a ton of info out there without going that route.

Just looking to get feedback on this issue.

I started as an investor and got my license a year later. Depends on your circumstances and your goals. Hope that helps!
