Real estate agent/investor Easter PA

Hey there,

I joined bigger pockets about 6 months ago after listening to the podcasts for a while. I was originally interested in real estate investing for cash flow, so 6 months ago I bought my first home in a rush to get started. It was a great opportunity because I was able to get into a small ranch home for only $2000 due at the closing table, including the down payment because my bank had an promotion for no closing costs and I got the sellers to do a 3.5% sellers assist. I only pay $580 a month because it was a cheaper home (but with no issues, it was move in ready) I have a roomate who pays $400 a month to live with me. It was kind of a no brainer to get started. 

I'm living in the home now and I'll be able to rent it out in October, after I owner-occupie it for a year. My next goal is to buy a duplex for me and my finance to owner-occupie next and she can be a "first-time buyer" for the home. I knew my job in social work would never allow me to gain the capital I need for investing, so I got my real estate license in March and joined a team at RE/MAX. I have 4 pending offers in my first 3 weeks, so these 11 hour work days have been fun! 

If anyone is interested in working with a realtor who is investor friendly, I'd be glad to touch base. Hunting for deals and great opportunities for investment is a passion of mine. I'm working with a couple investors now and would love to start working with more.
