Hi BiggerPockets community!

My name is Alicia I currently live in NYC, I am a CPA and I work for a big 4 accounting firm; I was looking for a book about rental income and came across "The Book on Rental Property Investing". I do not have any experience in investing in real estate, the idea of receiving income from rentals is intriguing to me. I've been listening to the podcast as well, and it appears that there aren't that many women investors in this field - and I would love to change that but I really don't know where to start :).

Saying hi and would love to make some new connections and learn a thing or two :).

@Alicia Mahase

Welcome!  I would read a few books, attend some local networking events, and listen to some of the podcasts here.  Once you explore those avenues, you should begin to get an idea of what kind of investing interests you.
