@Steven Stokes -Thanks for the tips! I will definitely look into investment club meetings here in NY, and I really believe if I have a plan in place along with education I can get to where I want to be. 

Nice meeting you @Mathew Randolph and @Chris Albanese. I am curious about Real Estate in NYC because it seems like everything is super pricey even if the outer boroughs. But the in the Bronx, in Riverdale or Kingsbridge should be decently priced for the time being no?

Hi @Craig Bellot - thanks for the step by step process. I'll definitely keep reading & what I'd really like to learn is how to analyze the deals because at the end of the day the numbers will the deciding factor.

My name is Alicia I currently live in NYC, I am a CPA and I work for a big 4 accounting firm; I was looking for a book about rental income and came across "The Book on Rental Property Investing". I do not have any experience in investing in real estate, the idea of receiving income from rentals is intriguing to me. I've been listening to the podcast as well, and it appears that there aren't that many women investors in this field - and I would love to change that but I really don't know where to start :). 

Saying hi and would love to make some new connections and learn a thing or two :).
