New to Bigger Pockets-Kansas City Metro

Hey guys- New to BP, and relatively new to real estate (first deal was a few years ago). I've lived in and flipped one foreclosure for the mandatory 2 year period and came out great. While I was living there on the cheap I bought and renovated a commercial building that houses my actual job (I work in insurance). It's 4 units total (3 commercial, 1 residential). I've learned a ton with my newest property and bought it right with the intention of adding value to the units through renovating and getting rents up to market value... A huge bonus was the residential unit! Having a blast with real estate and looking to network and learn strategies to help me as I move forward in my real estate journey. Will definitely attempt to be as active as I can, where I can, in the forums. Anyone in the Kansas City Metro area looking to network or talk about how you started and where you've made it, would love to hear your stories. Best of luck to everyone! -Austin
