Hello BP Community,

My name is Joel Espinoza from Pomona, California. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a bachelors in Hospitality Management but have yet jumped from the hotel industry to the apartment investing industry because of the almighty Cash Flow. I am 24 years old and recently began an internship as part of the acquisitions team for a real estate investing company that specializes in Affordable Multifamily Section 8 & Section 42 LIHTC housing. My goal is to develop my real estate investment knowledge and begin investing in Buy-and-Hold properties myself using the BRRRR method or House hacking. My current strategy has been to expand my knowledge through books and Bigger Pockets articles/podcasts, familiarizing myself with my market and seeking mentorship through coworkers. I am now looking to engage more with the Real Estate community through BP forums and have registered for the Los Angeles Real Estate Investors Club. I would love to network with other investors, flippers, wholesalers, agents/brokers in the Los Angeles / Inland Empire area. I look forward to interacting and learning from you all!
