Newbie from Atlanta, GA!

Hey Guys,

My Name is Rahib and I am a Data Engineer from the Atlanta area. I have been in the IT field for 3 years now but have always been excited by and had a desire to pursue a career in real estate. I have a very flexible schedule and reliable income where I am now and figure this would be the best time to take my first step toward entering the real estate. I have completed the real estate sales pre-license course but have yet to take the state licence exam. My purpose of obtaining my sales license was to gain more knowledge about the industry and eventually move toward investing in property whether it be residential or commercial. After reading numerous articles online I have reason to believe I can be a successful investor without being licensed. Now I am in an odd position where I am debating continuing on and obtaining my license to sell or to invest in flipping homes with the money I have saved. I am hoping by joining the bigger pockets community I can gain more insight and knowledge to better position myself to become a successful real estate investor!
