New BP member recently moved to Silver Spring, MD

Greetings fellow BP members! Im new to the REI world and currently attempting to immerse myself completely in all things Real Estate.

My dad owns a 3 family household in Boston, and growing up he always encouraged me and told me it was his dream that one day I would find a good property deal, jump on it and either rent it out or reap the appreciation. A little late to the game at 27 years old (at least thats how I feel), but willing and eager to learn as mucha as I can. Currently engaged and working full time, Im looking to invest in RE in the next year or so. Taking the first step now towards making it happen- getting my knowledge up! 

Any folks on here familiar with the Montgomery County area and would be willing to connect? Looking forward to chatting and learning from you all!

Russell Brazil he owns a property in Hyde Park. Currently renting out to family. I'm probably gonna settle down in the DMV so I'm trying to get my bearings down.
