New Member from Cladwell, ID Looking to learn about investing
My name is Aleasha Wilson I have absolutely no background in real estate but I am very interested in it. I am from Boise, Id and moved to California 10 years ago, my husband and I moved our family in September 2016 back home to Idaho and currently live in Caldwell! I am not employed, my husband and I have 5 kids some with special needs. This is a new journey that my husband and I want to do together. For me I think of selling a house like a song....they have their own story to tell and with a house you can rewrite its song for each new person. I have a passion for decorating and designing and my husband is the numbers person!! I want to learn as much as I can so that we can start our journey flipping houses and at some point have some rental properties, and of course we want to be able to buy a home of our own. I learned about Bigger Pockets from my husband and that is how I ended up here!

Caldwell is a beautiful place
I'm from the central Oregon area and have worked up in that area when I was a plumbing contractor
the best thing to do is get out and look at properties, make offers, get your feet wet
look in all the places that a realtor wont look, that is how you find the deals, come up with your own terms to buy
get yourself something that needs some work it sounds like you have plenty of help (the kids) have a two year plan for the property then refi or sell and move onto another depending on your financials you maybe able to get a nice duplex rent the one side out for a year and find you a home?
anything is possible
enjoy
