Wholesale Newbie - Houston, TX
I am new to wholesale and would like some advice on joint venturing. My knowledge in real estate has been obtained from working as a loan officer, loss mitigation specialist in mortgage banking (HUD certified) and a housing counselor. I worked with families going through financial difficulties and assisted them with loss mitigation options and bankruptcies. These were homeowners that attended workshops looking for help.
I am considering doing wholesale deals in Houston, TX, Memphis, TN and Chicago, IL and need advice if wholesaling can be done long distance or is local preferred.

@Carmen Massie - we are wholesalers in both memphis and middle TN and while virtual wholesaling can be done with the right systems and people in place, I'd definitely recommend at least starting local - especially considering you are in Houston.
