Taking action..Finally. New Member but longtime fan from SoCal

Hello Everyone!

I've read a few bigger pocket books and listened to hours of the podcast, but just now joining the site. What took me so long? Probably the fear that grips so many, but no longer! Here we go!

My name is Marquise L Davis and I'm an aspiring real estate investor, vigorously working to drop the 'aspiring' qualifier. I'm licensed to practice real estate in California, however I'm from Georgia and earned my bachelor's degree from Penn State University. I currently live in Southern California with my beautiful wife. My goal is to become an expert in real estate investing with a focus on multi-family housing and syndication. I enjoy travel, golf, and spending time with my family.

I'm a new California real estate licensee. I'm currently working for a property management company as an educational employment and networking opportunity. I manage all aspects of five properties in four cities. I'm in the process of starting a real estate company with a focus on syndication and acquisitions.

My goal is to create a real estate organization that builds capital and equity by syndicating deals for investors and then uses that capital as a means of continually building my own investment portfolio. I love California, Los Angeles, and the South Bay but I plan to invest in markets where I have support networks such as Atlanta, Charlotte, and Denver.

I'm looking to increase my knowledge as much as possible so that I can take action by using my skill-set, experience, current network, and time to assist others in becoming successful so that I may, in turn, benefit from what they have to offer in support of my personal goals and aspirations. I look forward to new connections over a shared passion!
