Hello everyone!

My name is Michael Baes and I am a Personal Trainer by trade and real estate investor by choice. My career path has afforded me many amazing opportunities and insights. I have been lucky enough to learn what I know about RE investing thru my clients who operate in the Middle Tennessee area.

I purchased my first rental nearly 6 years ago. Every year after, I managed to purchase a single family residence. I stick to simple 3/2 single family residences--your run of the mill cookie cutter rental house. I had 6 units at my maximum.

This past May, I decided to capatalize on the appreciation of some screaming deals bought in 2011. I cashed out a single property and used the equity to deleverage myself. In doing so, I have managed to achieve the next level in the rental 'snowball' with my first paid for property.

I am looking to expand my footprint in my home market of East Tennessee--where almost all of my family resides. I would like to start reaching out and make some contacts with anyone that operates there. I am currently working my first multi-family deal that should close in the next 90 days and thought it would be a good idea to find some help!

I am more of a 'hands off' investor; I prefer to keep my day job of training / writing and let a willing and capable PM take over the day to day.  I have had the luxury of being able to do just that in Middle Tenn with an amazing team.

I have listened to the BP podcast for over a year now and cannot tell you how valuable it has been to my journey! I cannot wait to start contributing to the community here as well.

Thanks,

Mike Baes
