Hello all!

I’m a 37-year-old father of two looking to find some long-term income options for college and retirement.

I have little to no real estate experience outside of purchasing two personal residences (selling one to buy the second) and my wife and her friend owned a small rental property that I helped with. It was a good learning experience, but we sold our half after a few years.

A recent discussion about this property sparked my interest and I began researching and reading, which led me here to BP. This place is magic!

I’m looking to invest in some buy and hold properties (single family, but not ruling out 2-4 unit multifamily properties, yet) in the Indianapolis, IN area.

I’m excited to learn more, network, and purchase my first rental property in 2017!

Proceed with caution. First purchases are often made at too high
a price. Some of us on here can help you with whether you are
getting a good deal or not. Feel free to run anything by me for a free opinion.
