Hello everyone!  I'm new to the forums here.  Looking to make investor and other Realtor connections.  I'm a retired veteran (U.S. Air Force - 21 years) and spent 2 years in the Offshore Oilfield Industry (Diamond Offshore).  Like many here, I am interested in real estate investment as part of my personal retirement strategy but also transitioning towards working with investors in my real estate career.  I am joining to learn more and network with like-minded people.  
My hobbies include Computers (gaming/programming), reptile husbandry, riding motorcycles and driving 4x4s.  I also love woodworking, but no longer have the access I used to so until I build a shop... that's on the backburner - but I still love to talk about it.

It's nice to meet you. We'll be investing some in College Station in 2017, so I'm on the lookout for connections over there. How long have you acted as an agent? Nice experience in the other fields. My dad served in the Air Force during the late 60's, and was in the oil industry after that, until about 5 years ago. He's now REI in areas outside San Antonio, where the oil industry needs housing for employees. The REI bug seems to run in our family.
