Newb in Cleveland, OH; invest local or South Dallas?

Hi everyone,

I'm a long time consumer, first time poster.  I finally took Josh and Brandon's advice from countless podcasts and am deciding to engage and plug in.

Looking forward to getting to know other local investors and wholesalers in Cleveland market (most likely targeting east side suburbs) as well as Dallas-Fort Worth Metro area (south Dallas suburbs and Ellis County).

I'm currently debating whether to branch out on my own and invest local here in Cleveland or team up with my mom and brother back home in DFW under an LLC. Or both.

As of right now, looking to continue to learn about and network in both markets.  If anyone that has experience investing in these areas would like to share their personal recommendation as to which market I should dive into for a buy and hold strategy, I'd definitely welcome your recommendations and opinion on the topic!

Thanks in advance!

Daly

@Daly Vaughn Since you have the benefit of living in a market with a low entry point and high cap rates, absolutely start there and leverage your local knowledge. Those of us living on the coasts only wish we had easy access to such a market!
