Updated over 15 years ago,
I'm Chris Guthrie from Oxnard, CA (Ventura County). I am a beginning wholesaler.
Hello. My name is Christopher Guthrie (Chris for short) and I have been born and raised in Oxnard California, which is located in Ventura County, about 1 hour north of Los Angles County. I almost exactly midway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. I am 26 years old, married to my beautiful wife Emily who is a high school English teacher.
I currently work for a mailing house company in Oxnard. I personally design and generate direct mail for non-profit organizations. I have my BS in computer networks and communications management. I graduated from DeVry University in February 2006.
I am new to Real Estate in general. I have dedicated a large portion of my time to my education of real estate, with a concentration on wholesaling. I am currently enrolled in advanced training course through the Rich Dad Poor Dad education system.
My current goals are the following:
I plan on completing at a minimum of 2 wholesale assignments by the end of 2009, totaling $7000 in profit. If 2 deals to do not total $7000, I will complete as many whole assignments until I have reached $7000.
By the end of 2010 I plan to holding a minimum of 4 single family homes within the Oxnard/Port Hueneme area, preferably within a 2 mile radius of the Port Hueneme Naval Base. I plan on either renting these homes or occupying them with tenets on lease options.
I have been attending as many REIA meetings as I physically can. I have been attempting to build my investor database. I am also building my power team for the Oxnard/Port Hueneme area.
I currently need references for competent real estate agents or brokers that know my target market and are either investors themselves or primary work closely with real estate investors.
That's my introduction. I hope to network with many of you soon.
