Hi All,

I'm new to the biggerPockets community, but I can tell already that this is the best place to learn about investing in real estate.

I am interested in diversifying my investment portfolio through real estate, and I would like to buy a duplex, triplex or fourplex to house hack, or possibly do a live-in flip.

I'm also interested in partnering with others where I can bring some value to the deal, be it capital, sweat equity, etc.

I am looking for deals mainly in Chicago and the northwest suburbs of Illinois.

I look forward to learning from and with you all.

Hi Joe,

I am a Realtor in Chicago and help many investors find properties to live in and/or flip.

I am working with a Hard Money lender as well private lenders.  Feel free to PM me.

Also, if you are looking to live in a property that you buy then I would recommend what Zach said and go with a multi unit.
