Good Morning Bigger Pockets,

My name is Erik and I am Brand new to real estate investing. I am brand new to learning about real estate investing. I live in California and have been in construction for 16 years. I am an electrician by trade but, recently stepped into project management and i'm learning the ropes there. I'd like to get started in real estate to make some money and learn how to set myself and my family up financially for the long haul. If anyone has suggestions for where to get started, what to read, or whatever that would be great. I am glad to have found this resource.
