Hi guys,

I'm a newbie in Berwyn IL, I bought my first property in Sept of 2016. I'm looking to connect to Investors and Landlords locally and gain knowledge about the industry.

I'm also a CPA who would love to answer questions about tax credits and such.

Hope to connect with you soon!!

Hi Jay,

I did a house in Brookfield last year.  I know that area well.   Berwyn and Cicero are highly competitive markets.  It is best to market for offline off market properties.

Be aware the building departments are a nightmare if you don't know what to do.

If I had a desire to work Berwyn I would only use a contractor that has done 4 or more remodeles in the last year.

Always go to the building departments and find out what their requirements are. In Berywn they seem to not honor their own codes.

Have a decent spread. You will spend more then you budget for.

Every town has different requirements.

Hope this helps.
