Hello Bigger Pockets community,

We recently inherited some multifamily property up in the Salem, Oregon area (we live in Southern California). Been spending the last year getting educated and learning as much as possible, including listening to tons of BP podcasts!

Our goal right now is to spend approximately a year simply being an owner, learning the game and getting a feel for the flow of things, then expand to double the net income within 5 years. I think it's possible with some smart planning and good advice.

The show and this site have been extremely valuable to me in my crash course and I look forward to being part of the real estate investing community in the years to come.
