Hello everyone. My name is Perry and I've been a BP podcast listener for about 6-7 months now. Since it seems customary to introduce oneself on the BP forums when they're ready to get to work, I'd like to take this opportunity to do so.

I'm a full time software engineer working in the health care sector. Presently, I just have a SFR, but I'm interested in stepping out of my comfort zone and putting my planning, management and organizational skills to the test in developing a portfolio of buy-and-hold, multi-family rental properties.

I've spent the last year grooming my credit score to max it out, eliminating all outstanding debt and saving up a down payment fund to start approaching deals with cash in-hand. At this point, it's time to just get the ball rolling on a first deal.

The next step is to find opportunities in the West Phoenix/Glendale area and pull the trigger to get my feet wet. My plan is to attend the next AZREIA meeting this upcoming week and I gladly welcome any tips, info or a friendly hello.
