Hello everyone my name is Ramiro Garcia from Winter Haven Central Florida. I join BP because my wife and I decided to invest in real estate. I currently serve in the military U.S. Navy as an electrician, my wife is a real estate agent and she is working on her mortgage loan officer license. We were always really interested in real estate investments, and we are looking information so we can start. Our primary goals is to have some rental properties and flipping houses. I think this is the hardest part to start because never done it before and we are trying to get as much information as possible from other investor so a least we get our feet wet. We are trying to do some wholesaling before to increase money for our first investment properties but it seems like a grey area to do if never done it before. I hope I get some information from you guys. Thanks!

Hi @Ramiro Garcia! Welcome! I'm new to BP and REI and am also in Central Florida. I actually found out about Bigger Pockets from our local REI, Central Florida Realty Investors. CFRI is great because the members are really friendly and open about sharing their knowledge. It's $150 annually per member.  If you want to add any additional family members, it's only an additional $50. They have loads on the calendar every month; each meeting usually focuses on a particular aspect of Real Estate Investing.  Check out their calendar of events.
