Athens, GA Contractor-newbie looking to expand!

Hi everyone, Nate here from Athens GA. I have to say, I love the forum! I feel like the new kid in school around all of this experience but I can't wait to see what all I can learn here. I am a 22 year old entrepreneur, contractor, and student. Once I get out of school this winter, I plan to start working on my license to sell real estate-depending how I like it maybe eventually appraisal or broker licenses as well.

I have been in the residential repair business for (well about half my life), about 10-11 years. I enjoy giving life to a trashed house and I take pride in what I do. As I worked to increase my sales this year I noticed that not only did I create value for myself in the manner of profit, I was able to reduce costs enough to create value for the homeowner as well. Obsessing with numbers and profit margins have been a passion since I was 16. I have sold everything from paint jobs, new bathrooms, cars, mopeds, jewelry, sheds, etc. I still enjoy going to auctions, just to take notes (LOL).

Really I see the safest way to a safe secure income stream as long term buy and hold rental property, but I am interested in learning more about flipping and commercial investing. I'm very interested in the educational and networking opportunities available on BP, the mood here is very welcoming and i am sure I will enjoy my time here. Thanks to all of you to take the time to share all of this insight, its truely inspiring!
