Hey everyone,

I am a part-time investor currently with two units. I live in Grapevine, TX and own two SFH in McKinney, TX. I am a newbie only getting these properties within eight months of each other in Sep 2015 and May 2016. I love the forums and look forward to meeting more investors.

Hello and welcome to BP!  I live in Coppell and I am from Dallas.i have been in the construction business since I was 17.  I have had an active real estate broker license for about 30 years but never did that full time.  I think you live in the middle of a good market.  By the way, I am 60 years old.  Just keep on doing what you are doing. You might want to look at MF compiles to get more is under one roof.  There is a bunch of competition out there but do not look at that as a negative.

Some of the competition might be your friend.  Go to local investment or "real estate" get togethers that you can network in.  Do not ever stop learning.  Be more of a specialist than  just a generalist.  Know your market well.  Just do what is average in that neighberhood.  A good looking neighberhood to sell in is what you want.  Make more offers.  Have a generating website that will get you more business.

Good luck to you!
