hi i am new to real estate and i am trying my best to learn as much as i can. I am more into brrrr.

i just recently bought my first home in philadelphia. The house needs a lot of work to be done i need help finding the best ways to get good quality contractors, or how should i go about interviewing them without wasting time. I know i am going to go through a lot cause this is my first house but i am willing to learn. Any help you guys can offer me is a blessing.

Do not pay for more than materials up front.  Only pay for labor upon completion of job. 

Get everything for the bid in writing.  Hold them to that for both time and materials.
