NEW Member from Western Mass

Greetings everyone, 

I am a new member to the forums that was directed here from the Podcast. A little bit about my background...

I am 32 from Western Mass and own my own home and have a rental unit condo. I have been doing a lot of reading and webinars and felt like I needed to introduce myself. Currently I am looking over several multi-family units in the area and hope to hear and share my experiences with other members on the forum. If there is anyone in the area I would love to chat a bit about your experience in this market and chat about real estate in general. My current career is as a civil engineer and hope to branch out into the real estate world! I have enjoyed reading through peoples stories here and look forward to reading future success stories and have one to share one day.

Pleasure to meet you!  I'm also in my 30's, investing in western mass and a background in engineering, systems engineer.  Seems like many of us on BP have engineering or technical backgrounds and are using our analytical skills to dig into real estate investing.  I have buy and holds, done flips, house hacking and seller held financing.  Let me know if you'd like to meet for a coffee sometime next week (Tuesday or Wednesday) or the week after I'm around.

The next event is tonight (Oct. 18th) at 6pm, topic "Social Good with Profit" at Samuel's, Hall of Fame 1000w Columbus Ave. Springfield, MA. Maybe you'll be able to make it? The speaker tonight is one of the largest investors in the area with a large portfolio in Springfield.
