It's Time to Begin in Real Estate

Hello everyone,

My name is Scott Autenreith and I am currently a student at the University of Arizona #BearDown. Recently, I have developed an interest in Real Estate. I have read, and read, and read. Although reading is great, it's time to apply my knowledge to the Tucson area. For me, that is an extremely scary thought. I grew up with parents who were teachers and because of their busy schedules, they never had the ability to venture out into business opportunities. Although I am only in college, I am extremely motivated to begin my life in real estate investing.

Currently, I am in need of a mentor. I hope that someone who has experience can sit down with me over a cup of coffee and tell me their experiences, positives, and negatives with  real estate. As of now, I see myself beginning with wholesaling and I've been in the process of completing my first deal and I am very excited about that.

One day, I hope that I can build enough passive income to be financially independent. That may be reaching a little but everyone should have goals, right? I'm in for a long road ahead of me but I am excited to get started.

Best,

Scott Autenreith

Hello Scott & welcome to BP!

This is a great place for you to meet people in your area and get started with your REI goals. Finding a deal is a great way to find someone to show you the ropes. I would set up keyword alerts for the areas you are looking at... This way you can stay in the loop and possibly connect with investors in your area. I would also check out any local meet-ups. I love your idea of meeting up with someone for a cup of coffee.. Get yourself out there and make some connections, I'm sure people will see your passion and enthusiasm and jump at the chance to show you the ropes.

Best of luck to you!

-Abel
