Hey Everyone,
My name is Brandon I recently stumbled across Biggerpockets via their Podcast. My wife and I currently own one investment property and our primary residence. We are interested in building passive income through part time buy and hold investing while maintaining our full time careers.
Living in NoVA has made it challenging finding deals within our desired return. Because of this we'll likely expand the property search to locations where we have lived previously or where we have family.
If anyone knows of a good REI in NoVA please let me know, I'd love to network with fellow investors.
-Brandon

NOVA stands for Northern Virginia. You are correct, VA stands for the State of Virginia.
While we are at it another common acronym in the area is DMV. This stands for DC (District of Columbia), MD (State of Maryland), and VA (State of Virginia).
You could say that NOVA is part of the DMV however the DMV is not exclusive to NOVA.
Lastly, never mistake Baltimore folk with DC folk. They speak different languages and and no one really messes with Baltimore unless you are actually from there. Baltimore is NOT part of the DMV and the city as a whole makes no sense both real estate wise and socially.
Hope this helps haha!
