Commercial Investing in Long Island

I'm a commercial appraiser and just moved to Long Island from NJ. I grew up here but I've been out in NJ for a few years. I'm looking to make my first commercial investment and would love to meet some experienced investors on Long Island. I also have a lot of market knowledge and connections in NJ and would be happy to to offer any help if you're looking to invest out there.
