Hi! I'm Max Davis. I have one rental right now with terrible tenants. When the opportunity presented itself to buy a second house I took it without doing any homework at all. Now that the craziness has died down I'm looking to move forward in a much better manner than I started.

I served 7 years in the Army and currently work full time at the Post Office.

@Max Davis welcome. Great job getting in the game. It's better to be doing than watching and it sounds like you have moved through some of the tough stuff and are ready to power forward. You should get in touch with the folks in Grand Junction as there is a real estate investors group there. I think @Teri Feeney Styers is a member there. You can use the search feature in the above right hand corner to find others in the area. You can search for people by zip code. Also set up some keyword alerts to get notices for posts related to your interests and geography.

Happy investing.
