Intro: Little about me

Hello all,

I have never done anything with real estate before, even though it have always been somewhat interested in the idea. I stumbled upon the bigger pockets podcast and I instantly got addicted to the ideas and strategies talked about during the show. I am eager to get in the game, but I am not naive to the fact that this business is not an art that can be mastered quickly without guidance and a strict code.

I am fresh out of school so obviously even though I have a full-time job, funds for investing are somewhat limited. I would love to find a house hacking opportunity near Chicago, more toward my work. Although, I know there may be stronger areas in the midwest for investing. I also think that apartment rentals may be the direction I am headed based on what I am looking for.

If anyone in the Chicago land area or around the midwest has any specific suggestions/ tips at this time I would really appreciate it.

On that same note, anyone with advise for a new investor would also be greatly valued. I hope to hear from anyone willing to talk. Also, GO HAWKEYES!
