New Member Intro

Hey Fellow BP members. Just wanted to briefly introduce myself to the forum and hopefully meet like-minded real estate investors in Charlotte, NC.

I currently work full-time as a finance/accounting manager for a company in the North Charlotte area. I like what I do, but it really limits the amount of time I have to research deals. Hopefully one day real Estate becomes my primary source of income!

Last year, I finally pulled the trigger and closed on my first deal, a small single family rental property close to uptown (downtown for non-charlotte folks :) ). I've since purchased another single family rental property and am happy to say that both have performed well. I've been reading up quite a bit here on BP and am getting very interested in doing my first flip (although nervous about dealing with contractors for major rehabs).

I'd love to meet folks in the area that have similar goals and would be happy to share the few insights I've learned over the past 12 months with those looking to make their first purchase.

Dan, we seem to be in a very similar situation. I have one SFH rented and am planning on growing soon while working full-time.

My wife and I just moved to Charlotte from Texas but really love it.  You should come to the meet up on September 5th at the Tap Room in Uptown!
