Hello, I am a 32 year old US veteran and the father of 2 boys. I have a background in engineering and I'm also a local artist that loves the outdoors. I'm interested in real estate investing because it seems like the most logical way to earn long term financial freedom. I would also like to establish something that will ensure my children are taken care of in the future and something they can continue to build upon so they and their children will be free of the financial burdens of today and tomorrow.

Hi @Christopher Acevedo

Welcome to the BP community. Great goals. I'd encourage you to update yourself on the relevant blogs and podcasts and read through beginner guides on here. There are also meetups in your areas that are good for connecting with real estate investors. (check meetup.com). All the best!
