New-ish Member: Buy And Hold Investor from Chester County, PA

Hi BPers. My name is Melissa and I'm a newbie buy and hold investor living in Chester County. I'm an avid BP podcast listener and have been patrolling the forums but have only just mustered up the “stuff” to officially introduce myself to the community. Since saving up a little bit of capital and becoming serious about getting my first deal, I figured it's time to start connecting.

If you have had success investing in Coatesville particularly or if the fact I said that makes you recoil, I'd really like to chat since I've been considering (perhaps naively) of plunking down some cash on a property here.

Also, if anyone could recommend any REI meetups in the area, that would be helpful and appreciated.
