Hey guys! I am new to the BiggerPockets community. ?Recently, I had a work trip that required a lot of driving. Instead of listening to music, I decided to purchase an audio book. That book I purchased was Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner. In this book, he mentioned the BiggerPockets community constantly. So... here I am!

I had always considered rental properties as a source of long term wealth, but have little education on how to accomplish that. I bought my first home 10 years ago(yes right before the market crashed) and I am within 5 years of paying it off. I had always planned on keeping this house as a rental property, but after listening to this book I may want to take a home equity line of credit and start investing in another property now.

I watched Brandon's webinar last week about how to use the analysis tool here on BiggerPocklets to calculate cash flow. I enjoyed it very much.

I am excited to be apart of this community and I am looking forward to educating myself so I don't invest into a money pit :)
