New to bigger pockets

Hello everyone, I'm new to bigger pockets website and only started listening to the podcasts a little over a week ago. I have one property in eastern NC, formerly my primary residence when I was stationed there for the Marine Corps. I am stationed in Okinawa, Japan now and looking to network, buy more rental properties and build a business for my children and future grandchildren. My biggest knowledge shortfall right now is the financing side of things when it comes to how I can use my VA loan again or other ways to go about purchasing a good investment property. Second shortfall, I live on the opposite side of the world with no way to view and evaluate property before purchasing. Any suggestions?

Priti Donnelly thank you for reaching out. That may be an option down the road but right now I'm get started in a market I know. It does sound enticing once I get a little more established back in the states. Again, thank you for reaching out and I will seriously consider it down the road.
