My name is Heston Beacco & I am 22 years old born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah.  I've been super interested in getting into the real estate game for a couple years now, although I just started really pursuing it and learning as much as I can about it around 2 months ago and have been putting in as much time as I can after work to study and read as much as possible.  I've been in the landscaping industry for 4 years now, all of which have been a foreman so I definitely know my fair share of landscapng, on top of that I have numerous other skills including hardwood floor installation and concrete restoration as well as epoxy coatings and decking.  This is my first post on bigger pockets even though I have listened to 90% of the podcasts I've been somewhat hesitant to post anything even though I am reading everything I can on here whenever I have free time.  I have some connections in the local community with GC's, as well as the fact that I am very handy.  That being said I don't necessarily want to just do a complete rehab by myself by any means, I'm just curious what some of the BP members suggestions for getting started might be.  I have a meeting with my banker at my local credit union on Monday to get some more info on what I will be able to do and the best way to go about my business plan. I think obtaining financing for me won't so much be the difficult part, even though I'm very young I have one of the best credit unions in the state (Utah Power) and they have never had a problem getting me approved for any other car loans even though I was 18 and had barely any money to put down no credit and no co-signer.  I know people always suggest the meet-ups, and this post means I'm getting closer to actually feeling like I can attend one and not feel completely clueless, I just want more suggestions! I haven't been this interested in or dedicated to learning something ever and I'm taking that as a sign to pursue it fully and give it my all, so if you have any suggestions or want to grab a lunch or a beer sometime I would love to meet up and chat!
