Just starting out in Dayton, OH

Hi all!

I am very new to all of this to be honest but I wanted to get an intro out there anyways. I live in Dayton, OH and am very interested in getting into REI in the near future (near Dayton or even Ohio in general). A friend and I are going to try and put our money together for our first down payment once that time comes. As of right now I we are just working on reading, listening, saving, and learning all we can.

That being said I am very interested in meeting new people and making some connections. I would love even to just talk to people about investing and maybe bounce some ideas back and forth. So if you are in the Dayton area (or not!) and would like to discuss anything related to REI or have any advice/thoughts I am definitely all ears! Also, if you think you could use any help in any way or think I could be of some assistance please don't hesitate to reach out. Anything that can generate some new experiences and knowledge is great!

For a final note, my friend and I are both software engineers by trade so if there is something we could help with in that regard please let me know.
