New Real Estate Agent

Hello everyone!

I did it. I quit my 9-5 and got my real estate license. My name is Tyler Sample and I am a Keller Williams agent with the mega-agent office here in San Marcos, Texas on the Walker Texas Realtor Team. It feels great to be my own boss and have my paycheck be directly proportional to the amount of effort I put in each day. It is truly incredible. I have been a member here on BiggerPockets for about 6 months and will be posting more now that I have things organized. I am very young in this business and my ultimate goal is to get started in real estate/property investing in the next 2 years, and retire by the age of 35. I look forward to blogging with you!

Hello and I am glad that you are here!  You are in a pretty good place down there and your acquatance with Keller Williams should help you.  Do not spend your time on selling your property.  Just focus on those things that make you money.  Only do those things you know how to do.  Networking and having a local Team is critical to your sucess.  Do not cut any corners.  Know the market you select and it's best locations.  I could tell you a bunch more because I am 59 years old and have been in construction-related businesses since I was 17.  I also had a real estate broker license for about 30 years.  Best wishes to you.
