Hello, everyone! This is Teresa and I'm excited to join the BiggerPockets community! I'm 27 years old and currently have a full-time job as a software developer. My husband and I got married in January this year and purchased our very first home! It's very exciting but scary at the same time since it felt like a huge financial commitment.  Also, my husband and I recently began educating ourselves financially and wanted to increase our cash flow and not relying solely on our paychecks.

I'm very interested in real estate investing. Before joining BiggerPockets, I have read other online articles and books. These materials opened my eyes and inspired me, but I didn't know how I could begin investing! I'm hoping BiggerPockets can help me turn my dream into achievable goals and actions.

My short term goal is to find out what kind of real estate investment is a good fit for my current financial situation, and how I could get started with very little savings since we are just starting out.

I look forward to meeting you all and learning from your experience. I'm excited to chat with you all soon!

Hi @Chiachi Lee.  You are doing the right stuff by educating yourself.  Having said that it is very possible in this business to educate yourself to the point that you never do anything.  There is just an overload of stuff to know about the real estate business.

It appears like based upon what you are saying your immediate goals is to build up some capital.  In that case I would suggest learning the wholesaling model.  It's the quickest way in real estate to accomplish that.  If done correctly it can be done with  minimal amount of money, and minimal risk.

Plus once that model is up and running it is very easy to expand into other strategies from it.

Hope that helps.  If you need more help don't hesitate to PM directly.

Peter
