Overcoming fear being new
Good evening. My husband and I are completely new to real estate investing other than selling our last home and buying current home. I have an educator background and my husband has served in the military and now works for the sheriff department. We are looking to begin investing in the Raleigh/Durham areas in NC and have been educating ourselves the last couple months on how to get started as well as studying the market. We will also be attending some networking events in the next week. Any advice on how to overcome the first initial "fear" you feel before your first deal?

I am a newbie myself. I would get educated on REI as much as possible from books, blog, forum, etc... And do the math! Numbers never lies.
It's like when you first learn how to drive. you wouldn't start driving until you read about what the signs mean.
At least that's what on my mind.
Good luck!
