Thank you everyone for the wonderful advice. We've definitely been taking advantage of the resources and literature available. But I think it's like any first job, won't you do it, things get better. I think my problem is I'm trying to learn everything and that's just not realistic in the beginning. Thanks again for the help!!!!

Good evening. My husband and I are completely new to real estate investing other than selling our last home and buying current home. I have an educator background and my husband has served in the military and now works for the sheriff department. We are looking to begin investing in the Raleigh/Durham areas in NC and have been educating ourselves the last couple months on how to get started as well as studying the market. We will also be attending some networking events in the next week. Any advice on how to overcome the first initial "fear" you feel before your first deal?
