Hello BiggerPockets Community,

my name is Shawn I am 19 years old living in Massachusetts about an hour south of Boston. I am interested in getting into real estate investing. My plan is to start by flipping houses in my area. I have been doing a lot of research and found a home that i knew a lot about up for a foreclosure auction. The auction was today but got postponed so i figure this is a good time to get to know the community that i'd love to be apart of. i have listened to all the podcast and im excited to start connecting and learning more.

Thanks, Shawn

@Shawn Loranger

Welcome take full advantage of the BP resources.

Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info. Here you will meet wholesalers who provide deals and rehabbers (cash buyers). You can Google to locate them and go to meetup.com There is a good one in Rockland email me for details.

Two Great reads, I bought both J. Scott The Book on Flipping Houses, The Book on Estimating ReHab Costs http://www.biggerpockets.com/flippingbook
