New to Real Estate in Utah :)

Hello all! Recently read rich dad poor dad and I've come to terms with what I want in life. Currently work at Audi in Salt Lake City Utah but would love to get into investing on the side. Planning on buying my first house next year! 21 years old so figured I would start now rather than later. Very new to all this so I've just been listening to audible 24/7. Really glad that I found this forum, it looks like it will be a great addition to my education. If anybody is in Salt Lake and wouldn't mind sharing advice about how the market is here, I would really appreciate it :)

Congrats! Rich Dad Poor Dad was also the book that helped me face my life head-on. I'm envious that you are starting at 21. You're on the right path!

If you haven't already, add the biggerpockets podcasts to your playlist.

Make sure you go to Salt Lake REIA each month and network with investors as often as your schedule permits. Let me know if you need help finding Salt Lake REIA.

Make sure you also set up keyword alerts for subjects you'd like to learn more about. For example, you could set one keyword to "salt lake" and get notified anytime people mention salt lake.

Here's  forum about the SLC market: https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/763-salt-lake...

I'm in Provo, but I like to meet investors all over Utah. Message me if you'd like help with anything or have any questions.

Good luck!
