I've been listening to the podcast and joined the community to gain insight make connections and become a better partner investor. My girlfriend and I own an apartment we currently rent and are looking to expand to other units, wholesale opportunities, and potentially foreclosures. 

We are highly motivated individuals and are looking to meet like minded people. We both have successful backgrounds in business and IT, and we love real estate investing thus far. We look forward to meeting thoughtful motivated professionals with similar goals!

Welcome to BPs!  Great resource for you and good place to meet some contacts to further your journey.  Sounds like you are interested in MF.  I'm in Austin but would encourage you to seek out some local MF meetup groups to expand your networking especially if you are going to be active in your investments.  Reading your profile, it does seem that you are not looking for another job either so I encourage you to also keep an open mind to passive approaches.  Our team syndicates large value add MF apartments w/a lot of focus on Texas right now.  We recently closed a 320 unit in Carrollton not too far from you and are looking for additional opportunities in the area.  If you are an accredited investor and open to look at these types of opportunities let me know and we can discuss our approach.  Here's a great article on the Dallas growth and supply shortages for housing including SF and apts, enjoy  and wish you the best.
