In search of mentors in Northern California.

Please allow me to introduce myself my name is Paul Anthony Trujillo, San Jose, CA is where I call home. I'm days away from my 39th birthday. I have worked as a Personal Trainer for the last 8 years and I throughly enjoy helping people tap into the strongest, healthiest versions of themselves. As a single father of an amazing 9 year old I have decided to pursue Real Estate investing so I may enjoy watching my son grow into a man. My goal is 5 years to financial freedom and 10 years to $10 million and optional retirement. I want to learn the business so I may teach my son to be his own boss and avoid the "middle class trap". Then give back by mentoring others. I believe in good will and helping others without an agenda. Now I seek mentors in the Bay Area that would be willing to meet and share their knowledge. I ask not to be fed, simply taught to fish. As always thank you for your valuable time. In challenge we change, Paul Anthony Trujillo

@Paul Trujillo you have come to the right place.  BP is full of knowledgeable people.  @Johnson H. has a great monthly meet up in SJ that is free. It is free flow type of meet up, so no body with an agenda pushing ideas etc. There is also a BIG REI summit coming up in August that is hosted by @J. Martin.  I am a big believer in both of these events as my investing really took off after attending them.  After going to Johnson's meet up and meeting people, I was decided to attend the first BA summit that was hosted by J.  It was packed full of knowledgeable speakers who were not pushing DVD's for sale.  They were genuinely there to teach and discuss their experiences with the audience.  Since attending my first meet up and attending the first summit in 2014, I have added 10 doors to my portfolio.  I was able to do this by following the advice given at the summit and guidance from people I meet at the meet up.
