New to this industry and I am interested in learning about new aspects of real estate industry and networking with others to gain knowledge and grow in my company.

If anyone has any beginner advise or suggestions on how to network when you first starting out, please share!

Thank you

Hi @Tynia Avery

Welcome to BP and to REI. You've already taken a crucial step as the answer to your question by joining BP and posting on here:)

Some suggestions if you haven't already done them are:

1) Set up your keywords on here for Charlotte and others areas that you are looking to connect in to keep on track with posts using these words and interact.

2) Look for different meetups in your area on meetup.com and then go out and start meeting people.

3) If you connect with someone in whom you feel you could learn from, take them out for coffee to ask them some questions that you have, then ask them if you had a deal would they be willing to look at it and potentially go into it with you if you give them a majority of the cut (like 60/40) and help guide you through any spots you need help with and go from there.

4) Lastly, keep reading and learning. Great starting spot is The Ultimate Beginner's Guide

Hope that helps!
