Newbie from Connecticut (moving to TX)

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking through the forums and thought I'd introduce myself. My wife and I are currently working for big corporations but have been flirting with the idea of investing in Real Estate for a while. I've been spending my time reading the forums, books and listening to podcasts.

There's a lot going on in both companies we work for and I think that within 6 months we will either be on another corporate job, or trying out Real Estate.

I live in CT now, but in order to extend my stay in my current job, I will strategically be moving to Plano, TX. I hope that's a good place to start!

I really underestimated how hard it is to give the first step, I am hoping that by getting to know more investors in the area and maybe create a good networking will give me enough confidence to "jump" :)

Paulo
