Hello all,

To keep it short and concise:

1. My name is Alex
2. I'm originally from Wisconsin and educated in DC
3. I moved to the OC (from DC) and lived here 3.5 years
4. I'm an IT professional
5. I have never bought or owned any property before, so I'm new to the terminology and concepts of property investing
6. I'm looking to learn from knowledgeable and experienced investors to provide some insight into cash flow properties and how to continuously purchase properties to supplement and, eventually/potentially, match/exceed my current income

Other than that, I work full-time and am pursuing another degree.  I will have a sizeable amount to start my investing by year-end, so I'm looking to gather knowledge in the interim to make my first calculated and prudent investment(s), within a year.
